Looking for any ideas on training activities specifically designed to help improve first touch and overall ball control. The boys are specifically having trouble with the ball bouncing off of them too hard when they attempt to receive, and also with toe-poking the ball when the dribble and having it get too far away from them.
Please help. Thanks
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet
At Goalsquare, we take care especially that the young goalkeepers also learn and improve their football specific skills (ball mastery, receiving and passing, ...). That is as much important as the goalkeeping specific skills.
We included a lot of exercises in our dvd, our books, as well as in our software (exercise archive) for this very important topic.
